KA1 YOU - YE "The Digital Jumpstart'' 19-28.10.2023 - Messina, Italy

From October 19th to 28th, 2023, the Erasmus+ KA1 Youth Exchange “The Digital Jumpstart” brought together 42 young participants in San Saba, Italy, for an inspiring and action-packed program focused on digital skills development and cultural exchange.

The adventure began in sunny Catania, where participants were greeted with warm temperatures and the lively chaos of the airport, setting the tone for the exciting days ahead. Despite some late arrivals, the group kicked off with dynamic ice-breaking sessions that sparked energy and camaraderie among participants from Associazione LUCE, NGO NEXT Generation, and Association "Academy of Success."

In addition to workshops and activities aimed at building essential digital skills, the exchange incorporated cultural exploration. Participants had the opportunity to visit Savoca and Taormina, immersing themselves in the art, traditions, and breathtaking landscapes of Sicily. From savoring delicious local cuisine to appreciating the region’s rich heritage, the cultural outings added depth to this unforgettable experience.

“The Digital Jumpstart” exemplified the power of international collaboration, providing young people with new skills, lifelong friendships, and a greater appreciation for cultural diversity. This youth exchange reaffirmed the importance of blending education with cultural enrichment to inspire and empower future generations.
