KA1 VET - "Green practices in Italy" - Vidin 2023

In 2023, the Erasmus+ KA1 VET project “Green Practices in Italy” brought educators from the Professional High School Assen Zlatarov in Vidin, Bulgaria, to Castelletto sopra Ticino, Italy. The project aimed to showcase sustainable practices and innovative waste management systems, fostering ideas for implementing green education and vocational training.

One of the highlights of the visit was a meeting with Castelletto sopra Ticino’s leadership, including Mayor Massimo Stilo and Deputy Mayors Davide Guenzi and Sonia Franchini. The educators were introduced to the town’s exceptional achievement—recycling 86% of its waste—a testament to the community’s commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
